This means there is a slight roundness to the inside of the ring allowing the center part to fit closer to the finger than the outer edges. A comfort fit ring will fit looser on the finger because it is not flat on the inside but rather rounded. Therefore when you are getting sized please use the narrow finger sizer which is 3 mm wide, (as opposed to the wider one of 6.5 mm.) This will provide a more accurate finger size than the wider sizers. Do not use the wider finger sizer as your ring will fit too loose. I have had this ring for 3 years now. It still has that mirror shine just like the day I got it. I wear it everyday! I never take it off even when working on things around the house or my car. It has never scratched or tarnished. One time I noticed it had a dull appearance and I thought I scratched it because I felt some ridges on it. Well I decided to wash it first before I panicked. I just used dish soap and the scrub side of a sponge and it was back to shining and no ridges or anything on it. I felt stupid to say the least. Now all I ever have to do is wash it and dry it off.
